So now Christmas day is past, people should fess up about any bike bling. I got my TCR 1 a little early so it has been seen flying literally already. Did any one else score some bling?

I scored a new bike bag, DHB from Wiggle, it's amazing, great padding, with a hard rubber base with wheels. The amazing thing was Wiggle sent this post free and it weighs 7kgs!.
Other than the 'xmas' arrival of the new bike no bike bling for me. A couple of ceiling fans (can anyone recommend a good electrician) so at least I'll be able ot keep my cool.

They have other tradies on their books too like carpenters and plumbers. I used the electrician once and had a good result.
No bike bling for me but I seem to have a few kg of weight that I didn't have a few days ago...

Santini ghost rain cape - very Euro stylish from the Canberra 'euro pro' shop (and ex B grade burglar proprietor) aka Cafe Velo.
Cant wait until it rains ;) I'm planning to ride my single speed to the Belgium Beer cafe via the Jerrabombera 'pave' , working on my 'Johan Museeuw' training program.

He must have had a lot of spare time that day ;) I mean whinging about your bikes and gear would surely take quite a long time wouldn't it?

My lovely better half bought me a champion Chinese bike which I've always wanted but never realised, weighs 21kg's but still fast enough to beat my V-M nemesis in the Allycat. It's in the top two of my all time faves at the moment.
Also authorised the willy nilly spending on parts for my all chrome Daccordi single speed which I cannot ride if there is a 1% chance of rain.

I got a spiffy new pair of Sidis for Xmas. They've already provided some fantastic additional inspiration for me to get back on my bike post-baby. I took them for their maiden voyage yesterday and couldn't believe how fast they made me along the Federal Hwy. But then I turned around and realised it was actually just a massive tail wind, meaning I hurt a lot the whole way home. But at least I was hurting in style!

Correct Europro colour shoe.
OMG not wrong length socks, worse, NO SOCKS!
These shoes are not really suitable for the necessary quick changes of triathlon.

If you look closely, you'll see there is an anklet sock there (see the purple trim of the sock sticking out from under the shoe?). These shoes would never be disgraced by skin-to-shoe contact with my smelly feet. And don't fret - they will never see the light of day during a triathlon. Eek!
But your response does beg me to ask - is there a correct length of sock for cycling? I'm guessing it's not an anklet given the use of the anklet has left me with a blister on my achilles.

Should explain it pretty well

Thanks Sue.
Based on that, I now realise two things:
1. I made a serious cycling style faux pas in wearing ankle socks; and
2. given Whitman College's note that "Accent colors should match your kit", I'm concerned my new Sidis actually want me to be a member of CC rather than TCC. I hope this doesn't mean that my feet will be in such turmoil when I finally start racing again that they won't pull out the goods for me!

TRP carbon calipers for my racer... 'bling' in the truest sense of the word as the finish is just a veneer.
They see me rollin....

*does crack dance*
I got a $50 voucher from Bicycle Superstore (http://www.bicyclesuperstore.com.au/) and they don't deliver (in fact it looks like they have no stock!!), so I've gotta spend more than $50 to get there and make a purchase!
