A guy I work with has a near new;
Minoura rda 850
This is a rim drive trainer. A really good one.
Quiet and smooth.
The rubberised resistance wheels clip on to the rim, not the tyre, making for a much quieter time and no tyre wear.
You can also use it on your mtb!!
The one pictured isn't the actual one, but it's pretty much identical.
