I thought the leadout effort and subsequent victory in D grade tonight waranted it's own thread! James and Rob were smashing themselves on the front for the last lap and were absolutely spent at the finish, but Tom finished it all off to make it worth it. I loved it!

Best team effort of the summer so far!

Thanks Simon- it was a really good race and a fantastic result. And great work Rob & Tom for finishing it off.

Milto suggested we (V-Mob & Valhalla) all work together for the greater good, and it worked a treat!

We will have to make sure the train swaps around to V-mobile next week.

I was always expecting the top Valhalla guys to be near the front of Mens D very quickly. 1st week was tough but they are getting the hang of it now.

Shhhhh!!!

You guys did it perfectly! It was great to watch too - you could just see the three red and blacks moving up into position, then you held it beautifully. No panic when a guy attacked you, you just kept doing your thing knowing that you have the team work to hold him off.

I'm so happy.... I almost...

Two teams working together.... can't have that :)

I too was impressed at the strength of the sprinter on the left (Tom?), may have to send out a contract.

I was just looking through the tech regs and found this. I am sure Spillane is on to it:

17 Cheating, attempted cheating, collusion between riders of different
teams
17.1 One-Day Race F $50 + D
17.2 Stage Race F $50 + D

So how do TSC and BC get away with it?

Because they are the same team this year! That's why there's one million of the bastards. Well 80 anyway.

It's an obscure rule which is pretty hard to enforce, even at pro level.
