Hi all,
As Rosscoe pointed out on Canberra Roadies there are some roadworks going on which could disrupt the regular Norman route and we will need to make a small change to the regular route.
Adelaide Ave is partly close at Kent St Bridge and on-ramp. We should be able to claim the lane here as we come down off Cotter and go past the lane closure early in the ride no problem, but this needs to be in the ride briefing and riders need to be clear on this and aware of traffic coming up behind. At that time of the morning it shouldn't cause major issues.
The major change is for those doing the gallop as the ramp down from Kent/Novar is now blocked. The bunch will now turn left at Weston St off Novar, just one street after the Yarralumla shops round-about. This brings us back to Hopetoun where we turn right and then immediately left back onto Adelaide Ave for the trip home as per usual.
