So as a born and bred Goulburn boy I'm thinking of doing this event is anyone else keen? I missed it last year because of family commitments. I know it's only 85km but we could do a bit more before or after to meet our quota.

Leonie is going to do the 55km if any of the Valkyries are interested.

bump - so who's doing this one? If you register before 16 September you get a 10% discount & entry to a draw for new bike from Greengrocer's. Starts early - rego at 7.30am, race briefing at 8.45am, starts at 9am - might mean an overnight in Goulburn or an early Canberra departure....

I was keen, but turns out the 3rd stage of Tour of Two Rivers is on the same day, I think I'd better go since Rach organised especially with Rohan, the race director, for separate women's grades. :)
Sounds like the Grand Prix will be a nice day out though - have fun!

I just realised that (late) last night so didn't enter Goulburn & might make the trek to support the Two Rivers event, given Rach's hard work on all our behalfs.
Yay! Tour of Two Rivers!
There will be rivers!

Yep, we were fine. Chris got two punctures in quick succession and it took a while to change the tubes in the freezing wind. We eventually rolled in, scoffed our sausage sandwiches, then took off for the warmth of the Greengrocer.
Did you and the other guy stay together till the end?
