SSIR (Saturday sleep In Ride)

6:30am at the uni for a Tallagandra way loop. About 60km fairly flat roll tomorrow morning. I have a busy day planned.

Easy pace for those wanting some K's who have no time and want fresh legs to race in the evening.

I did that 500m of dirt, on mulligans flat road just outside of gungahlin, 2 weeks ago, and it was a lot rougher than usual.

I haven't been out there for 6 months. It has always been fine when I tried it. It is downhill so I will just take it easy.

I tried to go out that way through Gungahlin the other morning but Mulligans Flat Rd was blocked just before the dirt. They are doing a heap of construction out there including new roads so be mindfull of tradies (not the schnitzel variety, they're ok, the builder types).

I went out that way on Sunday (an attempt to shortcut and catch the prod), and yeah, did notice that it's been graded (and subsequently harsher than before). I thought I was being soft

Mulligans flat was opened all the way through (week before it was full of detours), was OK?
