This was the 2010 event that was rescheduled from Dec 2010.

what a tough event. It was hot (34 @ Mt Beauty), gnarly descents that axed one Felt sponsored rider. And punishing climbs for my 32/34 low gear.
There was a few local riders, a Bilby's SSer (mad), some Torq guys, a BC kitted guy, a MHanslip kitted guy, ONYA Philip kitted junior and Daz in the V-Mob jersey. Maybe others that I didn't recognise.
Collectively we did the ACT proud. I jagged 3rd from 6 in the SuperMasters 67km, the Torq guys got a 1st and 4th in the 100km grades and ONYA's Michael Hayashi blitzed the junior 67kers.
Many a cramp was had by all. Was it fun? I'll be back this year for the 2011 version. But this time on a dual suspension granny gear equipped bike. :crazy:
The scenery is Alpine wonder, but take it easy on the rocks. Some competitors gave up after 4 flats and a long walk!
