It was actually the 9th of December but that's a minor technicality.

Thanks to all who helped out especially Mike for RD'ing - I've never heard the term detritus used in a race briefing before! :)

Aw snap, this week.

Team Chat's a happier place without the likes of me!

pfftt. I don't think that's changed at all.

Less random though, even with Boz still in there

So he'll be aware that he's been allocated to a team for the summer points comp.

I'm a lone wolf.

Speaking of lone wolfs and random (language warning - not for the kiddies or sensitive types)

Pointscore to round 7 attached.

Coming into the final round Anna Johnston and Travis Schofield have shown consistent form and have WC and MF respectively wrapped up.

The minor placings in those grades are still anybody's.

Andy "_ABC_" Collins has a commanding lead in Open D but hasn't got away with the series yet.

Open E and C grades are still wide open.

Of course, while the battle for the placings is exciting, it's also worth noting that there are 2 C-grade points separating V-mobile Chief Scientist Ben Long from Forum Commissaire Jamie Young. The resolution to this clash of squad giants is sure to pack in the crowds this week.

See you all on thursday for an exciting finish to this half of the season, complete with bbq and prizes! If you're in the running, turn up, because if you don't make it, we will give the prize to the next person on the list. Sure, you still get the glory, but not the loot.

I first read this as "clash of the giant squids". Could be a good way to boost race attendance.

Well done Anna and Travis!

Hi

There is another reason for coming to the Supercrits this Thursday... The AGM is on at 7.30pm.

All positions are vacant and it would be great if people would nominate rather than the usual suspects, a number of whom are not standing this year. As far as I know I am the only person who has definately put my hand up, and I could be persuaded to step down really easily if you want desperately to be Treasurer.

Some wonderful contributors to the club as getting a bit weary and I think SimonC would also be willing to let go of El Pres duties. The wonderful V is not standing for Race Secretary (or even a committee position):(, Stevo is not standing :( and the list goes on. I think that Jane is willing to do Membership again, but I could be wrong about that too.

So how about it :naughty:, contact any of the current committee members if a role on the committee interests you. And by the way the club cannot exist without a committee :(, so give it some serious thought.

Andrew, who is organising the BBQ etc? By the way also I have the keys, money tin and the laptop from the weekend race and will see you out there before 5.30?
