Audited Annual Financial Statements for VCC 2007-08 and 2008-09

Hi,

At the General Meeting held today following the ITT the club's 2007-08 and 2008-09 Audited Annual Financial Statements were tabled, as was my Treasurer's Report for the two years. The reports were accepted by the members present and will now be lodged with the ACT Office of Regulatory Services.

The Audit Report was qualified and a management letter has been provided to the Club's Committee with suggested changes to reporting and accounting practices to enable the Audit of the club's 2009-10 Financial Statements to be unqualified.

If you have any question in relation to these reports, please let me know.

I will be working on the 2009-10 Financial Statements to ensure that the issues identified by our Auditor are addressed so that there will be no qualification required by the Auditor.

Thanks 4 taking this on as I'm sure it wasn't an easy task - and under the circumstances the outcome is probably a good one for the club to learn and build from. Nice to see you back on the bike too!
